I’m trained and certified in Gallup’s research-backed CliftonStrengths methodology. I help dental teams uncover and harness their unique talents, empowering them to optimize performance, boost engagement, and drive sustainable success.
I am a leading figure in the professional Jamaican dental community.
I am an active member of the Jamaica Dental Association and have served three terms as President and three as Vice President. Overseeing 25 international dental conferences and chairing five, I am a dedicated supporter of professional growth.
I am proud to share that I hold the distinction of being the first and only female Chairperson of the Dental Council of Jamaica.
Prior to that, I served the council for six years and have held various positions, including Chairperson of the Dental Board of Examination Committee and Chief Dental Examiner.
I am passionate about empowering others!
Most recently, I developed a series of innovative online training course for dental assistants and other dental team members. I am passionate about empowering others to embark on or advance their careers in dentistry. That’s why I created an easy-to-access and easy-to-digest online experience that will provide them with the training essential for success as a dental assistant – my online course series, Dental Assisting Made Easy.
Who is Dr. Lawson-Myers when she isn’t practicing dentistry?
I am the proud mother of son, Jarell, and daughter, Shauna. I am actively involved with the Liturgical Dance and Women’s Ministries at the Swallowfield Chapel where I worship. I also enjoy participating in modern dance classes, walking in the early morning, and entertaining friends and family during my leisure time.
